When Videojet asked us if we would like to pitch for there exhibition stand, we jumped at the chance.
10 companies soon turned into 5, 5 was then wittled down to 3 and then...we were finally told our design had been chosen!

IMAGE DATABASE
When you have lots of images which need organising in one central place for easy
access, the best way of doing this is through an image database. One such example
of this is the SJAS online image database. Designed bespoke for the client and integrated
into their SAP computer system, the image database provides a central storage facility
for all of their product and lifestyle images and logos and production assets, enabling
them and their agencies to login and download hi-res and low-res images on demand.
Dynamic searching is also possible by keyword, category and price so allows the
collation of multiple images of a specific type with the click of a button. The
system is totally modular also so can be linked to various other applications, links

EASYJET ONLINE MERCHANDISE
Producing a vast range of merchandise for any client takes a great deal or organisation
and management. By building an online merchandise catalogue for the client to show
the full range of merchandise available to them allowed us to be more streamlined
in the way we produce and deliver the products to the client. By first agreeing
a suite of products for use by marketing and PR agencies to promote the client nationally,
we produce the agreed quantities and then store them in our warehouse. When the
marketing contacts and agencies log on with their own username and password, they
choose the products they require for their activity, complete the simple online
form and the order is sent through to the warehouse. Picking and packing is automated

ONLINE PROOFING SYSTEM – SAVE THE TREES!!!
FOTW launch a dynamic online proofing system
for one of our clients. Whilst designing and producing a large catalogue, we hit
upon the idea of creating an online proofing system that would automate the whole
process whilst being environmentally friendly at the same time.
Because of our experience
in producing design for print and the whole print process, we have used our knowledge
to develop a workflow system to handle the proofing process for both the client
and our studio. The online application allows the creative studio to upload proofs
and then it prompts the client via email to make amendments and proofread online.
Built from the ground up exclusively for the client, the new system lets them add
and view whole publications, view single page proofs, input amendments, upload new
text and image documents, and also track the whole publication process from start
to finish. To add to this, the statistics pages allows the client to view a snapshot
of the work in progress and having a full history of proof transactions, gives full
accountability to the users. All this without printing to a single piece of paper!
